If you want to live a short 2 minute drive to Downtown and escape the hustle-and-bustle of a busy City Centre the community of Abasand is for you! Abasand Heights is a nice little neighbourhood located on a hillside south of Fort McMurray. The northern boundary is created by the Athabasca River. Abasand Heights is north of the Beacon Hill community on the west side of Highway 63. Abbotswood Drive and Abasand Drive lead into the community. A bridge is provided over the highway to by-pass traffic with easy access to both public and industry transit, making this location an easy commute to downtown or work.
